Happy New Year 2019
I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year to you and your family. I pray that 2019 brings you health, happiness and prosperity (in that order). I don’t know about you, but I for one absolutely love welcoming in the New Year. Its something about “out with the old and in with the new”. A time to start fresh, new mentality, and hopes. A time to put away all the negativity that 2018 had and reinvent yourself.
I use to write out my New Years Resolution. I haven’t done that in about 3 years. My very last one was precisely 12 goals, goals which I set not too far out of my grasp and luckily was able to reach all but 2 of those. I wonder now if by reaching my set goals, I no longer felt the need to write up a Resolution and attempt to reach yet more goals. Maybe before the end of the week, you’ll find out that I caved in and wrote my brand new resolution for 2019. I mean really, having goals and working towards those goals are what keeps us going right? I did attempt for 12 whole months to mentally force myself to do more knowing I had goals that I was trying to reach before the 12 months ran out.
My New Years Resolution always starts with “To Spend More Time With My Family”. I guess that should be a fairly easy goal right. Maybe for some, but not others. Actually when I wrote that out, I thought about every BS appointment that wasted my time when I could have been spending it with family. But pulling from those experiences have helped me to better micromanage my time, so that I can spend more time with my family and those that I help in the community.
